Mark Long Obituary

Mark Thomas Long, age 62, passed away on June 27, 2020. Mark was born in Akron and lived in Mogadore. He graduated from Mogadore High School, Class of 1976. Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting and all Cleveland sports. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Leigh Long; brother, Greg Long and father, Thomas Long. Mark is survived by his children, Mark A. Long Jr., Joseph T. Long (Madison), Dorothy J. Long, Richie and Kathy Hora, Billy Dehaven, Russ Ferrell, Angie Serva; granddaughter, Evelyn J. Long; sister-in-law, Laura Keener; nephew, Tim Felts; niece, Katie Buchanan. Special thank you to the health care professionals at Akron City Summa Health System. Family and friends will be received Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hopkins Lawver MOGADORE Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260. Private family services will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Mogadore Fire & Rescue Department, 135 S. Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore, OH 44260.
