Mary Elizabeth Brink

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Mary Elizabeth Brink, 90, passed away on November 28 in Cuyahoga Falls.

Born in Cuyahoga Falls on December 14, 1921 to the late Merrell and Mildred Norman, Mary was a lifelong resident. She was a 1939 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. Mary worked for Mobile Meals at Sutliff for many years and was also a member of the Falls Cancer Club.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 1975 and her sister, Glenna Mae, she is survived by her son, Jim (Jo Ann) Brink of Silver Lake; grandchildren, Jim Brink and Cathi (Eric) Jarvis; great-grandchildren, Robert and James; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Anna and Bill Millsaps, Hospice of Summa, Dr. Stephen Jackson and the nurses at Summa Western Reserve Hospital, and Mary's home health aides: Stephanie, Sharelle, Ellen, and Tammy.

A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Gail Lindsey on Saturday, at 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail), in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
