Nancy Labuda Obituary
Nancy S. Labuda (Phelps), 70, passed away January 17, 2018.
She was born on July 5, 1947 in Akron to E. Jay and Eleanor Phelps.
Nancy graduated from Mogodore High School in 1965 and from Kent State University with a degree in Mathematics. Upon graduation, she worked in the IT department at General Tire for 25 years.
She was a lover of animals, especially her cats.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Raymond J.; brothers-in-law, Rick (Janet) Bowser, Paul (Marie) Nikonow; sister-in-law, Agnes Mash; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours 4 - 8 p.m. Friday at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd, Fairlawn.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church.
Interment at Moore's Chapel Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Dear Ray and family,Nina and I were saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. Your devotion to each was exemplar. I remember several chats with Nancy on the phone and at Blossom. I even tried to persuade her onetime to adopt a kitten that was abandoned and could sense that tugging on her heart strings. Please take some comfort from these thoughts of her.
