Robert Raymond "Bob" Ishee

Robert Raymond "Bob" Ishee, age 80, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 in Greensboro, Georgia after 16 years defeating cancer.

Bob was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1934 to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Francis) Ishee. He grew up in Bratenahl, Ohio and graduated from Collinwood High School in 1951. He held a BS in Business from Kent State University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Syracuse University (Utica). He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Arnold Air Society, Blue Key Honor Society. Bob was also an Eagle Scout. He served four years in the United States Air Force earning the rank of Captain.

Bob continued his love of flying, owning several airplanes in civilian life and held commercial, instrument, and multiengine ratings. He had a lifelong passion for golf and was a member of Congress Lake Club, Hartville, OH, for 30 years where he served as President of the Club. He was a member at Reynold's Plantation, Greensboro, GA and enjoyed spirited rounds with his golf buddies. Remarkably, Bob amassed nine Holes-In-One over the years and shot his age at least once every year from age 70 until his death. Bob worked in the pressure sensitive adhesives business at MACtac, a BEMIS company for 38 years. After beginning his career in manufacturing management, he was Plant Manager, VP of Manufacturing, COO, President of MACtac USA, and Chairman.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Killen Ishee and his sister Joan Brock. Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy Nejman Ishee; and his children, Heather McQuillin (David) and Bob Ishee Jr. (Becky); granddaughters, Ashley McQuillin Allenby (Jeff) and Lauren McQuillin, Katelyn and Carly Ishee; and Nancy's children, Michael Nejman (Tricia), and Sheryl Nejman; grandsons, Michael and Matthew Nejman.

A visitation is scheduled at McCommons Funeral Home, Friday, December 12th, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a reception /celebration of life immediately following at the Lake Club, Reynolds Plantation from 3 to 5 p.m. Private services and burial will take place in Hartville, Ohio at Mt. Peace Cemetery.

Bob was strong, kind, caring and loving and will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends.
