Powers

Ronald E. Powers (67) was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 in Akron.

Born October 14, 1948, he was an Akron resident for the vast majority of his life, developing a stout reputation throughout Summit County for quality masonry work. He was a devoted family member, proud father and even prouder grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Powers, and is survived by his mother, Eula; his loving wife of 44 years Patricia Ann (Alsup); daughter, Dorieann; son, Ronald, II (Trista); granddaughters, Liana and Myla; sister, Patricia Hairston (Michael); nephew, Anthony Mullins; niece, Melita Polk (Rashad); and a host of caring family members.

Following a private ceremony, family and friends may offer their condolences from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 1377 Chippewa Ave., Akron, Ohio 44305.
