Many prayers and thoughts extended to the family. I, Tara, knew Timmy J through various activites at OC, and if he was around you always knew:) Jon, who is now in the Army and has limited access, is deeply saddened to loose a brother and fellow musician, as they both played trombone and were in Kings. But as Jon said when I had to break the news to him " we just have to remember him for who he was:)" God Bless-

The Jesser Family-

I was deeply shocked and saddened by your loss. Timmy J, as I knew him, touched a great many lives in the time that he had with all of us. I was one of Timmy J's "Big Brothers" during his pledging time with the Kings. I watched him grow not only as a Kingsman, but as a man. I will never forget the bear hugs that Timmy J could give, it didn't matter if you hadn't seen him for two days or three months, there was always one waiting for you. The family of Kings will forever share your loss and is always there to lend support in anything that you need. I will always remember him as a Brother in Arms, as a little brother, and as a friend. My thoughts are with you.

To the Jesser Family,

At times like this you must take hold of what you know. We know your family from a few years back at Barber school. From that point until now it is obvious Tim made many friends and impacted many lives. Take comfort in that, if possible.

While I did not know Tim very well, I always found him to be a compassionate human being with an admirable work ethic. I remember him most as a member of the Ottebein College Band Set-up and Tear-Down Crew. He was always a joy to work with and was never without a smile on his face.

I wanted to express my sympathy for Tim's passing to his family. I was in the Marching Band with Tim at Otterbein and have many memories of Tim during my 4 years, starting when we were both Freshmen. I also lived in the Commons Apartments near him and saw him frequently while going our separate ways. He was so selfless in his help of the Marching Band and always had the ability to make everyone laugh. I know he will be terribly missed in the Music Department at Otterbein and on the Otterbein campus. I left OC last spring after graduation and never got a chance to say goodbye to "Timmy J" and was shocked to learn of his passing. He's been in my thoughts over the past week, as I guess I always thought I'd get to see him at the Homecoming parade for years to come in the alumni band. All of his family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
