Jean Gray Obituary
LANCASTER — Gwendolyn Jean Gray, 89, of Lancaster, and formerly of Mason County, W.Va., died Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Lanfair Rehab and Nursing Center after a brief battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Friends may visit on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home, as well as one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Family of Jean, May she rest in Peace in God's hands. She was such a loving friend to my mother, Mary McChesney of Corry, PA . My father and Dale C. fought in Okinawa together and connected numerous times afterward. Later Jean introduced us to Jim. We are very happy to learn that Jean and Jim traveled the world.

I am so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. It is true, Jean was a friend to many. I met her on my travels with Freedom Years and will miss my traveling friend. I am so blessed to have known her. May God be with you in your loss of this wonderful soul.

We lived across the street from Jean for 10 years - she was a neighbor and a friend! She was always so sweet and kind to our family! She will be missed! She was certainly a woman who was always traveling and busy with the friends and family who she loved.
