Ruby Marcum Obituary
VINTON — Ruby Jean Marcum, 81, Vinton, Ohio passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Lovely, Kentucky on October 8, 1935 to the late Ermal and Frankie Booth Webb. Ruby married Billie J. Marcum at Richmond, Indiana on June 2, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2012. She was a member of Victory Lighthouse Church, Oak Hill, Ohio.
Ruby is survived by sons, Kevin (Judy) Marcum, Vinton, Ohio and Darrell Marcum, Thurman, Ohio, eight grandchildren: Kara (Todd) Ragan, Bidwell, Ohio, Robin (James) Gruber, Bidwell, Ohio, Erin Marcum, Vinton, Ohio, Christiana (Josh) Long, Pliney, West Virginia, Kevin Williams, Gallipolis, Hana Marcum, Thurman, Brad (Crystal Marcum, Gallipolis, Ohio, and Jennifer Bias, Virginia; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Phillis (Dave) Schaller, New Salisbury, Indiana; sister-in-law, Helen Webb, Lovely, Kentucky; brothers-in-law, Hollie Marcum, Vinton, Ohio, David (Evonna) Marcum Lake Wales, Florida; and sisters-in-law, Mary Block, Vinton, Ohio, Sarah (Donald) Israel, Vinton, Ohio.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded by four brothers and two sisters.
Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.
