Dwight was a great gentleman of tremendous stature in Christ. Always kind and gentle, friendly and encouraging, he always brightened the day when I saw him. It has been a privilege to be among his friends. His presence in heaven is one more reason to look forward to our glad reunion day.

Rev. Neuenschwander sponsored our first church in Salina, Kansas.
It was a district plant. He encouraged his people to be involved with the new
church. Ourstanding layman volunteered to help with the new church.
They were very generous. We will always remember their leadership
and gracious spirit. Our prayers will be with his wife and family.

Dwight was a super nice guy. He loved to laugh and smile, he just loved people. I encountered him for the first-time at Nazarene Bible College. I was impressed by his magnificent spirit. It impressed me immediately. He and Dr McKellips became co-pastors of the church plant, Woodland Park, I became a charter member there. I have many memories of Dwight but the one that sticks in my mind, was when he was teaching a musical class trying to teach his students to direct and lead music. I have no rhythm, I have no timing and the song assigned to me was Majestic Sweetness. He had the whole class laughing, trying to teach me. I shall never forget that! What a time, what a guy! We have remained friends across the years. I will miss him greatly, he was a blessing to me.

I have many fond memories of Prof. Neuenschwander during my days at Nazarene Bible College (1974-77). He helped shape me into the minister that I have become. I am still serving in the Church of the Nazarene 40 years later.I can still see him leading us in the school song "Make Us Men To Match Our Mountains"

We were saddened to learn of the homegoing of a former professor and dear friend, but our hearts are made lighter knowing that he is rejoicing with Jesus even as we write this. One of the highlights of our ministry was having him for revival and looking forward to our newsy annual Christmas card exchange. Eula Mae, you will be in our prayers as you adjust to your loss. He was a fine Christian man and set a wonderful example for those of us who were privileged to know him. May God lift you and the rest of the family up daily and give you much strength for the days ahead.
