We are so thankful that we met the Summers Family through Lisa while Brad played soccer at Tinker. We gained an entire family from the relationship. All of you are such an important part of our life. We truly miss Joyce, it is hard to believe we can’t pick up the phone and hear her voice. It seems unfair that such an awesome person that has given so much to so many would leave us so soon. She was amazing – she was like a “young” loving grandmother to Destiny, and like an older sister and friend to me. She was always there to help whether I needed a perm, babysitter, dogsitter or just someone to talk to. We are so thankful that she was a part of our life and are greatful for the fond memories of our time together. A special thanks to all of you for welcoming us into your home and treating us like family while we were stationed at Tinker. The holidays, birthdays and barbeques will never be forgotten. We love each of you and are thankful that we still feel part of your family. It was special spending time with Vernon, Kim, Annie and Haley this summer in Alaska.

Dear Joyce, Mom, you said Kim and I were your twins, separated at birth, but 11 years apart! We should have been sisters, and you would have been a great mom. I didn't get to know and love you as much as I would have liked, but I will always remember you and PawPaw in my heart, mind and prayers. I love your family as if they are mine. Thankfully, I know, we will meet again in the sweet bye and bye. Love, your daughter-in-Christ, Renee

mrs. summers (joyce) after the shock of hearing that you had passed away. many thoughts ran though my mind, from i just saw you monday and you were fine , to i can't believe this is happening again. the girls worked hard with everyones ideas on the picture boards. at the funeral home you looked so peaceful. bennie sr. and jerry miss you alot , as do the other kids and grandkids and friends. to say we miss you and we truly do ,it would be selfesh for us to just let you go, but if you are pain free and watching us from above. we will have to wait to see you. until then keep a eye on us and you will keep us headed the right direction . you may not be here on earth , but you will live on until we see you there in heaven .

My Jerry and family! Thank you so much for touching our world. You are a true blessing! I would think your holidays are going to be difficult as ours. I loved hugging you, Jerry, on Thanksgiving day! I thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and hug everyone. It's been a ruff year, but seemingly more for you and yours. Take care! I love you, and Cassie, Trent and Brianna, (and the baby, Richard just called her baby). Just thinking of you. Your Mother is so proud! I am so sure! And Ray is right there beside her! We Love you! Gail, Maddilynn Rae and Noah R.J.

Mom, Your time with us was short, however short though, those days were filled every day knowing that you loved each and everyone of us unconditionally. Your heart was so big, you never turned anyone down who needed your help or advice. From that day many, many years ago, you and the family claimed me as one of your own. For that I am forever blessed to have been loved so much. There have been the ups and downs but I always cherish those moments with you cleaning and cooking and shopping. All the great advice you gave me when it came to child rearing and most of all, all the help you gave me through those difficult times. You were my Mom and my best friend. I love and miss you very much!!!

Dad, I am only a phone call away. If you need anything or just want to talk I am always here for you. Lisa, Kim, Allen, Jerry, Thomas, Vernon, Cassie and the kids, we love you more than you will know. Even though we are so far away doesn't mean we don't think of you all everyday.

We love and miss you all.

God Bless.

XOXOXO's

Losing family is hard on all of us and fond memories of my cousin and family living across the street from me when Keith was just a tot and having Joyce close by to help me figure out what to do when he was sick and no one else was around....i'll never forget the times I'd run across the street and just be part of her immediate family as well. My memories are full of love for your family.

To The Summers's Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I just want say what a wonderful loving family you are. Jerry, I have gotten to know you through my brothers. What love and friendship you have given my family through the years. During the time of Ray's death you and your family were right beside us all the way and we so appreciated that. Lisa, working with you at AFS was such a joy. Finding out our brothers were best friends was something else, I remember how we laughed about it. I really do want to express my love and appreciation for all of you. I know this time is such a time of heartache and tears. Please take time to take care of each other, and just think, Ray is taking care of your mother in heaven!

Hugs and kisses

Love Lynn
