Roger McKee Obituary

July 11, 1943 - Feb 18, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Roger Glenn McKee went to be with our Lord February 18, 2012. He was born July 11, 1943, in Denison, Texas.Roger was preceded in death by Walter and Elizabeth McKee and Claude "Tot" McKee. Roger is survived by Marilyn McKee, Oklahoma City; Lynda Darlene McKee, Overland Park, Kansas; Jean Woodley, aunt, Denison, Texas; two daughters: Michele and Byron Dill, Overland Park, Kansas; and Amy and Paul Belle Isle, Franklin, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Tyler and Whitney Dill, Overland Park, Kansas; three stepdaughters: Lynn and Chip Berthusen, Plano, Texas; Jane Willis, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Misty and Paul Thorson, Garland, Texas; four step-grandchildren: Michael Willis, Stillwater, Oklahoma; Macie, Karlie and Levi Thorson, all of Garland, Texas. He served as 2nd Lt. in the Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1968. He was the owner/operator of four Hallmark Stores located in Edmond, Oklahoma City and Moore. He worked in the life insurance business for several years. Roger was one of the founding partners of Cornerstone National Insurance Company, where he worked for the last fifteen years. He was an active member of Quail Springs Baptist Church and the David Fraser Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Quail Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, The Gathering. Memorial Service to be held at Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Thursday at 2 p.m., March 15, 2012.
