May 10, 1993 - Nov 27, 2014 HARRAH Victoria Leigh Almanza "Tori" began touching lives from the day she was born on May 10, 1993. Tori was the type of individual whose mere presence exuberated greatness. You could consider her a jack-of-all-trades but a master at all; Tori had a knack for mastering whatever she tried and found great pleasure in learning new things. Tori was a member of the National Honor Society at Choctaw High School, where she graduated from in 2011. Tori wasn't just intelligent; she was athletic as well. She was a Cheerleader; she had taken Tai Quando; and she even raced dirt-bikes in Motocross. Tori was a professional student at The University of Oklahoma, where she was majoring in linguistics and learning Arabic with aspirations of becoming an attorney in international law. Tori's career goals stemmed from her love of Palestine; she was so proud to be half Arab and often identified herself as such. She had such a high amount of empathy and respect for Palestine and the injustices they have endured. If you knew Tori, you knew that Palestine was the love of her life. Tori had such a kind and generous heart and was often involved in different charities and causes, including Pros for Africa. Tori had made such an impact on everyone she met in her short time here; when she walked into a room, her mere presence demanded attention. Victoria, you truly are the strongest person everyone knew. Victoria was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, William L. Baker and Jan Baker; and brother, Jaime Almanza. Tori is survived by her grandparents, Albert and Sandra Wilkins; her parents, Raymundo and Michelli (Wilkins) Almanza; her younger sister, Erika Almanza; her aunt, Tammy Roesler; her uncle, Ray Roesler; her cousin, Tayler Davis; and a host of other family members and friends. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Sunny Lane Funeral Home in Del City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held in Tori's honor on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City, at 4 p.m. A party will be held in Victoria's honor following the graveside service at Vast restaurant at Devon Tower.
