I graduated from Lawton High School with Winston. I remember him as a friendly, smiling person who was enjoyable to be around. He made a fine drum Major and we were very proud of him.

Mr. Kerchee (as any former student would address him), ignited a passion for music in me that I hold dear to my heart. I'm sure my sentiment will be a recurring theme as his passion for music was contagious. You will be greatly missed but Heaven just received an outstanding music director. My deepest condolences to all his family.
