My Uncle Bob would most definitely not want sorrow for his passing; easier said than done. He knew the "best is yet to come," and I imagine his being free of pain and beaming with lightness and relief . He quoted Willie Nelson: "Remember the good times. They are easier to remember because there are fewer of them." I have 60 years of good memories: singing Christmas carols while he played piano (by ear: very talented.), his laughter and smiles, I will never forget. Sharing what he learned working for Hospice, and just relaxing in his retirement. Especially he and Emily traveling the country in their R.V. And for his young great grandchildren: he knew who he was. The only way to be happy is to be yourself and know that God is there. Everyone is different and needs to follow their own spark in life when they are ready. That is how to experience the beauty and freedom of being you! As Dr. Seuss wrote, "No One is Youer that You. His love lives on in us, in our hearts and the things we do when we are ready.
