David Snow Obituary
June 11, 1943 - March 3, 2026
BENNINGTON - David Paul Snow was born June 11, 1943, in Ogallala, NE, to Harold and Louise (Asell) Snow. David Paul Snow, 82, formerly of St. Paul, died peacefully Tuesday, March 3, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home in Bennington, NE.
David spent many years serving as a YMCA CEO, a career that took him and his family to communities in Nebraska, Missouri, Montana, Iowa, and North Dakota. He retired to his hometown of St. Paul, NE, in 2000 and moved to Bennington in 2022.
Survivors include his wife, Connie (Bainter) Snow; children, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Snow, Deborah Snow, and Vicki (Kenneth) Lilienthal; siblings, Janet (Robin) Elstermeier and Marcus Snow; sister-in-law, Sharon (Jerry) Jaksha; six grandchildren and spouses; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Snow; and sisters-in-law, Helen Snow and Pamela Snow.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at the United Methodist Church in St. Paul. Inurnment will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. A luncheon will follow at the fellowship hall. Visitation will be held Friday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
