Edna Miller Obituary
Dec 18, 1929 - Mar 23, 2011
Born in Omaha. Preceded in death by husband Ernie Miller; son Doug Miller; and daughter Patricia Miller. Survived by son John Miller and daughter-in-law Sue Miller; grandsons, Matt and Aaron Thompson, and Bryan Miller and family of Texas. Edna had many friends and relatives in Omaha, Missouri, Arizona and Iowa. Edna worked as an X-ray technician, homemaker, and she worked as a secretary at UNO for many years.
VISITATION will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home (4425 S. 24th St.) Monday, March 28, 7-8 pm. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Graceland Park Cemetery (4723 S. 42nd St., Omaha) on Tuesday, March 29, at 10 am.

I did have fun at Aunt Edna's house. In the summer we would go visit with Ernie, Edna, Doug, John and Patty. What good memories I have. I'am very sad to hear of her passing. I love you Aunt Edna

I have known Edna and her family for most of my life. I always enjoyed her great sense of humor. And I also admired her strong will and her very independent nature.
I was fortunate to spend lots of quality time with her recently after the passing of her daughter Patti. We had many great conversations as we both worked through the loss of her daughter and my life-long friend.
I will miss seeing Edna sitting on her porch when I come back to Omaha for visits.
Rest in peace Edna. You are in a much better place now. Say hi to Patti for me.

Aunt Edna was always happy to see my mom and dad and us kids when we would visit family in Omaha. We would play the player piano and dance, what fun. She and my mom (her sister Elaine) would laugh and laugh. What great memories. I love you Aunt Edna
