Gary Bemis Obituary

BEMIS-Gary L., age 66, Council Bluffs died 10/12/08. A self employed carpenter, he was the owner and operator of Garron Homes. Gary is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Diane Bemis, Lyndon and Kim Bemis and Paul and Cyndi Bemis; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Steve Andrews; brother, Bill and his wife, Laurie Bemis; sisters, Patricia and her husband Edward Johannsen, Shirley Ross; 8 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
VISITATION Tuesday 6-8pm at New Horizon Presbyterian Church, 30 Valley View Drive in Council Bluffs. FUNERAL SERVICE Wednesday 10am also at the church, Rev. Paul Masters officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery. CUTLER-O'NEILL-MEYER-WOODRING

So sorry to hear about your Dad, Barb. Sorry also that this is posted so late, but we didn't hear until after the funeral. Steve was such a great comfort to me, so I know he will help you and the family through this. My firsthand advice is to visit with and constantly show love to your Mom and to only dwell on fun times with your Dad.

Nothing is harder then loosing someone that your world revolves around. The Lord is gracious and Kind and he will walk you through this time of sorrow. On days that you can't stand he will help you walk and on days that you can't walk he will carry you. Our Prayers are with you and your family, not just for today but for years to come.
