October 21, 1935 - October 5, 2022

James R. Stewart, age 86, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Preceded in death by wife, Marlene; parents, Florence and Roger Stewart; sisters, Catherine Evans, Mary Eberhard, Janet Doescher, Margaret Shadbolt, and Florence Majeski; and brother, Roger Stewart. Survived by sons, Trent Stewart, and Bryan (JulAnn) Stewart; grandsons, Joel (Jamie) Kiihne, Jared Stewart, and Justin Stewart; great-grandchildren Abram, and Lennon; and very dear friend, Barbara Basham.

VISITATION Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00-5:00pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with ROSARY SERVICE to begin at 4:00pm. FUNERAL MASS Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (2110 S 32nd Ave, Omaha, Nebraska 68105). BURIAL to follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials suggested to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Jim was our neighbor for more than 57 years. Our sincere sympathy to his sons Trent (T.J), Bryan, and all of his family. We´re so very sorry for your loss. Our family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless and comfort you all during this difficult time.
