Janice LeMaster

Janice LeMaster, age 90, a resident of Omaha, passed away September 30, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born January 8, 1934, in Boone, IA, and a graduate of Boone High School, before marrying Gerald LeMaster, her husband of 69 years.

Janice's life revolved around her family, friends, and service. One of her greatest joys was supporting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their life moments and activities.

Janice was an avid reader, world traveler, and master bridge player traveling the country for tournaments.

Throughout her life she served as volunteer at the Humane Society, Meals on Wheels, March of Dimes, Welcome Wagon, Women's Jr. League, and countless PTA committees. She also taught bridge at high schools.

Preceded in death by her late husband, Gerald; and her parents, James and Pauline Nelson. Survived by children, Cindy Rosenberg (Dave), Candace LeMaster, Connie Wuebben (Bruce), and Craig LeMaster; brother, J Nelson; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
