Lorraine Schlautman Obituary
Lorraine, age 85, of West Point, NE, died May 19, 2024.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her firstborn child, Keith; and great-grandchild, Hadley Johnson; her parents, Anton and Christina (Wordekemper) Neesen; parents-in-law, John and Anna (Wolf) Schlautman; brothers, Valerie and Hilary Neesen; and several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edwin (Dusty) Schlautman; her children and their spouses, Kevin (Sandra) Schlautman, Kim (Ken) Murcek, Kent (Kim) Schlautman and Kyle (Deanne) Schlautman; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Eveline Neesen, Marlene Neesen, Camilla Schlautman and Sally Schlautman.
MEMORIAL MASS will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point, NE. INTERMENT will be at a later date. A luncheon will follow mass at the GA Cafeteria.
VISITATION will be on Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church. There will be a Christian Mother's ROSARY at 4:30 p.m. A VIGIL SERVICE and ROSARY at 7 p.m., at the church. VISITATION will continue on Thursday, one hour prior to the service. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point is assisting the family with the arrangements. The family suggests that memorials be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church Endowment, the GACC Endowment, or Franciscan Healthcare Foundation.
Lorraine has chosen to donate her body to science.
