Marion Sather Obituary

Sather, Marion Ilene

March 26, 1925 - January 5, 2024

Marion Ilene Sather, age 98, was preceded in death by husband, Marvin; and son, Larry, and is survived by sons, Clifford and Gary (Barb). She was born on a farm near Big Lake, MN, on March 26, 1925, the youngest child of Alfred and Ida (Arneson) Jacobson. Marion was baptized, confirmed, and married in the Lutheran Church, of River Falls, WI. On August 3, 1947 she married Marvin Sather and to this union three sons were born, Gary, Clifford, and Larry. Marion had a career in elementary education that lasted for 30 years.

Marion passed January 5th, 2024, at Ridgewood Retirement Home, in Bennington, NE. Marion will be cremated with INTERMENT and a CELEBRATION OF LIFE to be held in Nelson, NE, in the spring.
