Michael Battershell Obituary
Born April 7, 1945 in North Platte, NE. Died November 14, 2012 in Omaha. Served in the United States Navy. Preceded in death by his parents, Forrest "Babe" and Ethel (Hargens) Batter-shell; brother Patrick Battershell; and sister Evelyn Engleman. Survived by his beloved wife Lynne Randall Batter-shell; children, Amy Shepard (Bill), Alicia Battershell, and Stephanie La Perriere; grandchildren, William, Cali, and Eli Shepard, Jacob Battershell, Brian, Jr., Dustin, and Logan Michael LaPerriere; brothers, Byron, The Honorable John, Richard, and Steven; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
VISITATION Monday, November 19, 4-8pm, with Rosary 7pm, all at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel. FUNERAL MASS 10:30am Tuesday, November 20, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 15353 Pacific St. Interment, Flower Hill Cemetery, Omaha. Ah Mike. You were one of my brother Bill's more entertaining friends. I always appreciate how you would stop by my parents house when we were all there so you could see Bill. My parents always enjoyed seeing you as well. To Mike's family, please know the thoughts of our entire family are with you.

Mike was a great friend. He and my brother Bill would get together whenever they were in the same area and I've been lucky to be around a few times as well. Mike's ready smile and mischievous sense of humor were so much fun. A good guy. My condolences to all his family.
