Preceded in death by father, Hilmer R. Bettger; and brothers, David and Stan. Survived by wife, Karen S. Bettger; children, Rick Bettger (Jennifer), and Shari Cahill (Gene); step-daughter, Lori Moore; 6 grandchildren, Josie, Sam, Jill, Gwen, Jack, and Ava; mother, Lucille Calkins (Don); brother, Donald Bettger; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
The family will Receive friends Wednesday 5:30-7:30pm at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church, 15005 "Q" St. SERVICES Thursday 1:30pm, Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church; The Seeing Eye, Inc.; or charity of your choice. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN

Rick and Family-
I cannot extend enough gratitude and appreciation for the positive impact that Ron had on my father and his immediate family during his time. I can say I witnessed firsthand the kindness Ron shared, especially during the tough times my Father had while we were growing up. Ron truly symbolized the meaning of being a helpful family friend and caring about others.
