Stephen Philip Bruttig died peacefully on April 22, 2025, age 81, at The Journey House at Tabitha in Lincoln, Neb., following several chronic ailments. Born March 3, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 4 p.m., at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Murdock, Neb. INURNMENT will follow on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Omaha National Cemetery. Live streaming will be available for both services.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to Tabitha Health Care Services, Wounded Warrior Project or the church or charity of your choice. Condolences can be shared on www.hammonsfs.com.
