LARSON-Verna Louise, 88, Omaha, NE, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at Clarkson/ University Health Center in Omaha. Born January 30, 1919 in Craig, MO to Clyde and Daisy (Long) Atkins. She married Oscar John Larson on November 5, 1944 in Omaha. Mrs. Larson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Maitland, MO. She was also a member of the Maitland High School Alumni Association. Preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers: Ivan Laverne and Carroll Elsworth Atkins and sister and brother-in-law, Melva Ruth and Wayne Alloway. Survived by husband, Oscar John Larson, Omaha; sons, Erick John (Marcie) Larson, Omaha, NE, and Frederick Albert (Luanne) Larson, Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Jennifer Ann (Mark) Wasilewski, Papillion, NE, Michael John Larson, Omaha, NE, Dianna Daisy Larson, Council Bluffs, IA, Scott Thomas Larson, Council Bluffs; great-granddaughter, Mia Marie Wasilewski; sisters-in-law, Margarite Atkins, Maryville, MO and Mary Rockwell, Mound City, MO; nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, Maitland, MO. VISITATION 7:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 20, 2007, Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, MO. Burial will be held at the Maitland Cemetery. Memorials to Parkinsons Foundation, Alzheimer's Foundation or Maitland First Presbyterian Church.
