Michael L. Lewis

ONEIDA- Michael L. Lewis, 60, formerly Seneca Fields, Oneida, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 3, 2023, in the Oneida Healthcare, where he had been a patient for the past three days.Born in Oneida on February 9, 1963, he was the son of Robert M. and Janet F. Hansen Lewis. A lifelong resident of Oneida, Michael was a graduate of Oneida High School.Michael spent many years delivering newspapers for both the Oneida Dispatch and the Pennysaver in Oneida and formerly owned an antique shop with his late grandmother. He especially loved Christmas and the decorations and festivities that revolved around the holiday. Mike.was of the Catholic faith.Surviving are his sisters, Rosemary Lewis, and Nancy Burleson, both of Oneida and Tracy (Rick) Selvetti of WV; his brothers, Matthew (Virginia) Lewis of Indiana and Craig Lewis of Syracuse; nieces and nephews, Billy and Aaron Frost, Thomas Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Jennifer Davis, Dale and Heather Lewis, Johan Snyder, John Twiss Jr., Brittany Lewis, Ricky Selvetti and Kelly Claflin. He was predeceased by his brother, Shawn Lewis in 2022 and his niece, Kaylee Lewis.Friends may call at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida, on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 10-11 AM, followed by a funeral service.
