Dorothy Holloway Obituary

Winterville, GA - Dorothy M. Holloway, 70, died November 5, 2003.
A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Sam C. and Tiny Pinion Magnus and widow of James C. Holloway. She was retired from Bell South with over 30 years of service and was a member of Telephone Pioneers. Mrs. Holloway was a member of Winterville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the Friendship Sunday School Class and choir.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 8, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Winterville United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Reeves officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include 2 children and their families, Bill and Pat Holloway and daughter Sarah, of Rocky Face, GA; Steve and Jackie Holloway and children, Jimmy, Rebecca and Joshua, of Winterville; stepchildren and their families, Joan and Bob Frasier of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and their children, Josh and Wendy Mendelson and Deborah Mendelson; Ronald Holloway of West Palm Beach, FL; Nancy and Tom Gibbs of West Palm Beach, FL and their children, Tommy Gibbs of West Palm Beach and Dr. Teresa and Ceri Davies of San Jose, CA; sister, Frances Hammond of Winder; five step great grandchildren, Emily Davies, Sydney Davies, Jakob Mendelson, Abigale Mendelson, and Jordan Mendelson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Winterville United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.

I will always miss Mrs. Dot. She was like another grandmother to me. I love her and will miss her so much. I'll miss going to her house and playing "chefs" with Jimmy. She was an amazing lady and I will always think of her as here with me. I'm praying for you Uncle Steve and Aunt Jackie. I love her and ya'll too.
