Beverly Egan

On July 31, 2023 our beautiful, beloved mother, Beverly Ann Egan, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by family, at the age of 91. She was the devoted mother of John Egan (Gina), Elizabeth Peters (Dan), & Lynne Uribe (Rick). She was also grandmother to 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob to whom she was married to for 54 years, her parents Gerald & Marjorie Stouppe, and her brother Gerald F. Stouppe. A graduate of San Bernardino High School, after high school she was employed at Norton AFB where she was a secretary. She married Robert (Bob) E. Egan on April 11, 1954. She was a homemaker first and foremost but also found time to be active in the PTA at E. O. Lawrence Elementary School in Garden Grove, serve in a local sorority, and volunteer with the local YMCA Indian Maidens with her daughters. After her children were grown, she was employed by the Garden Grove Unified School as a registrar for many years. A lifelong member of Garden Grove Presbyterian Church, after she retired from the GGUSD, she served as a deaconess at the church and also volunteered in the church's shower ministry. A memorial will be held at the family home, and a private internment ceremony will be held later where she will be laid to rest in eternity with her husband, Bob, at Riverside National Cemetery.
