David Warren Obituary

WARREN, DAVID E.
Beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, went to meet his mother, father, sister and brother with the Lord on August 10, 2009. He was born in Mt. Vernon, IL. on September 13, 1939 to Dale and Nina Warren. He married Margaret Zink and moved to Florida in 1961. He acquired a dump truck and worked along with his father establishing Warren Trucking. When his father passed in 1967, his wisdom, hard work, determination and will prompted him to create one of the most prominent trucking businesses in the Central Florida area for 50 years, David Warren & Son Inc. Some of his best and happiest times were taking his grandchildren on cattle drives in Montana, skiing in Colorado and enjoyed a lifetime of hunting with his friends and family. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner, belonging to the Pine Castle Lodge No. 368 F & AM. He was a member of the Central Florida Trucking Association. He is survived by his sister Phyllis Byers; daughters, Rhonda McKinley, Crystal Guesman (Marty); son, David E. Warren, Jr. (Teri); grandchildren, Brett Yarborough, Jamey McKinley, Garrett Guesman, Steffany Warren, Cristen
Guesman, Jacey McKinley,
David E. Warren III, Sarah McKenzie; nephews, Rick Campbell, Dale Lance, Jeff Lance, Scott Lance and
Nathan Campbell and companion, Myra Waterman. He will be sorely missed by a multitude. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday,
August 14, 2009 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Pine Castle Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10 AM Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the
funeral home. Interment will follow at greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. Arrangements are being handled by BALDWIN FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME, PINE CASTLE CHAPEL 5800 Hansel Ave. Orlando, Florida 32809 (407) 855-5800. View and sign the family guestbook at www.baldwinfairchild.com

Rhonda,

I am deeply saddened to have recently learned of your father's passing. Working in Gatlinburg, I came in contact with hundreds of people each year. David was one of very few that I have never forgotten. I remember the evening I met him. He was very straight-forward but had a smile and a personality that made you want to respect him and all that was his. I always felt so comfortable in his presence.

It is a great honor just to have had the opportunity to meet and to be able to say that I knew David Warren. My regret is that I did not know him better.

May God bless and keep you and all your family.

Dad,

The first man I ever loved..most handsome of the earth and whose boots no one will ever fill.

Life is a process of "re-creation" ... The "re-creation" is in ME.

If there was ever on the face of the earth the situation where one person and spirit has been bestowed upon another ... I AM the walking, talking embodiment of your life -

All I am.. I Love You.

Forever,
#1

I am so sorry to find out about the passing of your dad. While we did not know him well he was a great neighbor...always kind and friendly. He feed the ducks with our son and let him play with his dog toby. Regards
