James Bridgeforth Obituary

BRIDGEFORTH, JAMES H. "JIM" 53 of Orlando, formerly of Flint, Michigan, died Thursday, October 21, 2004 at his father's residence. Memorial service will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI. Reverend Jack Gray officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 6PM Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Jim was born in Flint, Michigan on November 21, 1950, the son of Gene and Georgia Bridgeforth and was a resident of Orlando, for the past 23 years. He graduated from Flint Southwestern High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Bridgeforth was employed by Interstate Brands Merita Bakery in Purchasing. Surviving are father, Gene of Flint; two sisters, Kay and husband Ken Edmonds of Flint, Debbie and husband Rick Austin of Flint; two brothers, Terry Bridgeforth and Brad Bridgeforth, both of Flint; nephews and nieces, Danny Griggs, Jennifer Lewis, Tony Austin, Shannon Summersett; best friends, Jim and wife Elaine Landon of Flint, Lucille Offiler of Kissimmee; many friends, both in Florida and Flint. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia.
