I just learned today of Joe´s passing and my heart is breaking for his family. I began working for Joe as his secretary in 1979 and moved with him as he went into private practice and on to Red Lobster (later Darden Restaurants) as their General Counsel. Were it not for Joe I would never have progressed at Darden as I did. He was a true mentor and friend and, although we did not see each other often, I will miss him terribly. I pray for comfort for Jo Anne, Ben and Beth as they learn to live life without this truly special man.

I just learned of Joe´s passing. I worked for him at Darden Restaurants. He was one of the best attorneys I´ve known and one of the finest people I´ve been blessed to know. Deepest sympathy to Joanne, Ben and Beth. Rest In Peace, Joe.

Joe was my first cousin. He was always a kind, sweet man. A real Prince-among-men. He will be very missed by me and all of his family.

Joe Goldstein was a lawyer's lawyer. Great mentor to so many people. A superb guide through difficult legal issues. Patient in the right moment. Deliberate in the right moment. His wisdom and guidance will be missed.

My heart fills with sadness to hear Joe has left. He was a man I respected and admired and a man who looked out for me and who taught me a lot. He was so influential in my career and he meant a lot to me. I am deeply sorry I didn't see him more often and that I maybe never let him know how special he was to me. I thank him for his advice, which he gave me many times; and for his respect, always treated me as his equal. I hope he rests in peace; I will always carry you in my memories.
