Rosella Bernabei Obituary

BERNABEI, ROSELLA EMILY TAUCHER, 81, loving, caring and devoted wife and mother, of Longwood Florida, died Wednesday December 28, 2005 in the Altamonte Springs Hospital in Florida. She was born December 18, 1924 in Broughton, PA, and had formerly lived in Clymer, Cheswick, Tarentum and Doylestown, PA. A homemaker for life and office secretary for NISOA for 40 years. Mrs. Bernabei graduated from Baldwin High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. Degree in Business Education. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting and was an Inductee to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1994. She was a member of The Graduates, Italian Club of Annunciation Church, Countryside Baptist Church Ladies Group, all of Longwood and the American Social Club of Orlando where Rosella and Raymond renewed their wedding vows in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Survivors are loving husband of 59 years, Dr. Raymond Bernabei; devoted children, three sons, Dr. Raymond Lee (Beth) Bernabei of Kirtland Hills, Ohio, Alan Joe (Rita) Bernabei of Doylestown, PA, Leo Jay (Beth) Bernabei of Milford Square, PA; two daughters, Rosemary Bernabei Rocconi of Doylestown, PA, Mrs. Lori Jean (Craig) Pursel of Quakertown, PA. Proud and loving grandmother of eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Alan Joseph (Peggy) Bernabei, Timothy Raymond Bernabei, Raymond John Bernabei, Courtney Elizabeth Bernabei, C. Mario Rocconi, Dominic Leo Rocconi, Ali Rose Pursel, Jordyn Elizabeth Pursel, Cori Helen Pursel, Leo Robert Bernabei, Matthew Raymond Bernabei and Brooke Elizabeth Bernabei; brother, Frank Taucher of Bethel Park, PA. Will be missed by best friend, Esther Fusaro of Weikiva Springs, FL. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Ella Debelach Taucher; sister, Alma Weinheimer; brother, Joseph Taucher. Friends will be received 6-9PM, Monday in Cheswick at the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc., 1607 Pittsburgh Street. Christian funeral mass 10AM Tuesday in Our Lady of Victory Church Harwick with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens Indiana Twp.
