Sofia Rivera Memoriam
Sofia was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 1952 and moved to the Bronx, New York, in 1967 to start a new life on her own. Back in her high school days, she was a cheerleader and an athletic swimmer. She worked as a cleaning woman for the MTA Transportation in New York City for 35 years before retiring.
Sofia spent her last few years in Kissimmee, Florida, with her family already resided there and family visiting from out of state as well. She was a wonderful, wise, generous mother who taught her children life's lessons that would stay with them forever.
Sofia is survived by her daughter, three sons, three grandsons, and her husband. There will be no funeral services as she has been cremated according to her wishes.
She will be missed by her entire family.

I used to work in the same place as Sofia and I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very good, humble,M and hardworking employee before she retired. She will be missed by all of us who knew her. My condolences to you and your family. I just found this out and I am shocked by the news.
