Grace Strum Obituary
Grace loved to go biking, and planting geraniums anywhere she could. She also had a passion for reading to children, she volunteered at church, and school. She worked at Webster Stanley Middle School for many years and taught Sunday School at Grace Lutheran. She will be remembered for her amazing kindness and willingness to help others.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Thomas Seaman) Crowe; grandchildren, Jordan (Whitnie) Crowe, Triston (Katrina Mleziva) Seaman, Mackena (Bryson Olson) Seaman; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Asher Crowe. She is further survived by her siblings, Robert (Colleen) Schroeder, John (Bonnie) Schroeder, Joyce (Willie) Krepline, and Shirley Roeder.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Strum Jr.; parents, Edward and Marie Schroeder; brothers, Clarence Schroeder, David Schroeder, Richard Schroeder; sisters, Betty Leichtfuss, Delores Reckelberg, Catherine Schaefer, Alvina Stadler, Arline Hoeft; infant brother, Jerry Schroeder; as well as her sister-in-law, Mary Jo Dewing.
Services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church 913 Nebraska St. Oshkosh, WI 54902 on Saturday, March 4, 2023 with visitation being held from 11am until 1pm and services beginning at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
Special thank you to St. Croix Hospice, and Eden Meadows staff for all the care and compassion that Grace and her family have received.
