Genevieve Alice (Kovach) Lytle
Genevieve (Genny) Alice Lytle age 94, passed peacefully to her eternal home in heaven on April 4th. Genny lived most of her growing up years in Alma, Michigan. She graduated from Alma High School. After graduation she worked as a telephone operator and in July of 1948, she married the love of her life, Rondell "Bud" Lytle, who she was married to for 71 wonderful years. She loved being a wife and homemaker. She was a great cook and she had a gift for gardening. She had a true "green thumb", She took pride in the beautiful flowers she nurtured in her yard each summer. Genny loved being Mom to her 3 boys, she enjoyed bowling, painting ceramics, and golfing.
After retiring, they moved to The Plantation, in Leesburg, Florida. There they enjoyed their favorite pastime, golfing.
When health issues started to affect life, they moved back to Michigan to be near their family. She loved tending to her flowers and spending time with her 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her great great grandson.
Genny will be remembered as a very patient, kind, gentle, loving lady.
She is survived by her son Ronald Lytle (Rhonda), her brother Gordon Kovach, daughters in law Patricia Franz Lytle, Sheryl Lytle, her grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rondell (Bud) Lytle, her son Terry Lytle and her son Chris Lytle, her sister Joy Bush and her brother Steve Kovach.
We wish to thank the Doctors and nurses and staff at MyMichigan-Midland who gave her such compassionate care.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Midland Evangelical Free Church, Midland, Michigan 10:00 am visitation, 11:00 am service with Pastor Gib Giblin officiating.
