Ruby Ross
Ruby Marie Ross, 75, of Bay City, MI, formally from Midland, MI, passed away on February 20th, 2025, at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, MI. Ruby was battling dementia for the past 8+ years. The daughter of the late Lorraine (Wilkie) and Walt Merryman. Ruby was born on August 8th, 1949. Ruby has spent the last 4 12 years living with Chris Dickinson and her daughter Katherine (Kathy) Ross. Ruby enjoyed keeping diaries, hook-a-rugs, scrap booking, collecting cat figurines, going shopping with Chris and Kathy, taking vacation trips, watching Heartland repeatedly, petting our 6 cats, and mostly spending time with her 2 kids, Steve and Kathy Ross, and her grandson, Edward Ledrow.
Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Jim (James) Ross of nearly 38 years in marriage, her parents, Lorraine and Walt Merryman, and her brother-in-law Gary Demski.
She is survived by her 2 children, Steven (Steve) and Katherine (Kathy) Ross, her grandson, Edward Ledrow, and her 3 siblings, brother, Dave (Mindy) Merryman, sisters, Peggy (Dave) Cross and Katie Demski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial for Ruby will be held in the near future.
