Ashel BROWN Obituary

BROWN, Ashel Alexander Joseph "Alex"
Ashel Alexander Joseph Brown "Alex" died tragically in a car accident on Saturday, November 7, 2015, in West Palm Beach. Named after his Great-Great-Grandfather, Ashel Alexander Heath, Alex was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on August 17, 1982, to Keith and Bonnie Brown and ten days thereafter, relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida. Alex grew up in Port St. Lucie, then moved to the Tampa area and began the Airtex Corporation with his father. Alex also spent time living and working in the Cayman Islands where he was an integral part of the Island's relief efforts after Hurricane Ivan. Alex then settled back in West Palm Beach and became the Vice President of the Airtex Corporation, working alongside his father until his death. Alex is survived by his mother, Bonnie A. Brown, of Stuart, his father, Keith J. Brown, and stepmother, Janice Brown of West Palm Beach. He is also survived by his grandpa, Jack Trost, his grandma, Mae Goodman, his aunt, Cherry Kelly, his uncles, Kevin Trost, Eric Trost, and Dan Goodman, and numerous loved cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Piper. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach and Castle for Preventing Child Abuse in Stuart. Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 100 Crestwood Boulevard South, Royal Palm Beach, on Friday, November 13, 2015, at 10:00AM. A celebration of Alex's life will immediately follow at the Madison Green Country Club, 2001 Crestwood Boulevard, North, Royal Palm Beach, FL.

Bonnie, we lost touch so many years ago but I think of you often. You were a very dear friend of mine. The last time I saw you and your son was at my mom's house and our boys were about 3 or 4. I am so very sorry that I am reaching out to you at such a sad and tragic time in your life. Please know you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers for a long time. I hope one day we can see each other again. Love you much! Karla

I have many memories with Alex, my favorites cannot be shared but when I was last in Florida he came to the lake worth street painting festival with my mother. We have known each other since we were kids and lost touch until a few years back. Alex was a great friend and will be missed dearly.
