Family-Placed Funeral Notice

DANIEL LEE DRODDY 59 years old, of West Palm Beach passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2006 as a result of a long-term illness. Dan and his family moved from Charleston, West Virginia to West Palm Beach in 1961. Dan was a graduate of Forest Hill High School and the Honda Motorcycle School of Mechanics, in Racing, Wisconsin. Dan Droddy was regarded as one of the most skilled motorcycle mechanics known to this area. Dan's lifetime mentor was John Logsdon also known as “Boca John”. John was the owner of many Honda motorcycle franchises and called upon Dan for answers. John claims that Dan was able to tell exactly what was wrong with a customer's bike just by listening to it or communicating with the customer. Dan was the owner of Action Bikes & Parts for many years. He worked off and on for Boca John as his health declined. Dan is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Droddy, Jr.; his ex-wife, Kwy Ja Kim; his brothers, Donald Droddy, Tom Droddy and wife, Lydia; nephews, Kevin Droddy, Jason Droddy; and the nephews and niece of Ronald Droddy (preceded in death) are Ronald Droddy Smith, David Droddy and wife, Helen; niece, Sherry Droddy, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel will be truly missed by all. QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME has made the arrangements for “The Celebration of Daniel Lee Droddy's Life” for the immediate family. Memorial Services for friends and family will be announced at a later time.
