To Kathy and the Entire Glatter Family,
My name is Colleen Cole, a client of Eric’s. I can’t express the feeling I felt when I received the letter of Eric’s death. I spoke to Eric on November first and he told me he was going to the Bahamas for the weekend. He stated he’ll take care of everything for me when he gets back. Words can’t describe to you on how devastated I am over this tragedy. Kathy my deepest sympathy goes out to you for having to go through this horrific time. When I read what had happened I can’t imagine what you went through. Kathy that had to have been the longest trip home alone. Though I don’t know you, personally, please know my heart goes out to you. Try to be strong and remember all the good times you had together. My Prayers go out to you, Eric’s children, family, staff, and everyone that knew Eric. This is a complete loss and tragedy!!! Eric I will miss you!!!
Sincerely,
Colleen Cole

I was a client of Eric's and he helped me in my hour of need. From my first conversation with him I knew he was the type of professional I wanted on my side.
I only knew him for a few months but could tell he was also a special person who cared about others. I came to think of him as more than my attorney, a friend.
My condolances go out to his fiance and family, he was a special person I was lucky enough to get to know and he will be missed.

I was so sad and shocked to hear the news when my dad called me and told me who's funeral he was going to. We were longtime family friends of the Glatter's. Not to mention Sid, Erics father was my dentist for all my childhood life.
I remember going to their house after school and playing with Eric's sister and Eric. That was probably 35 years ago. I only wish Eric's loved ones the deepest sympathies. As I lost touch with Eric, I see through all the well wishes that he remained his same fun self.
November 10, 2007
Dear God
Thank you for letting us borrow Eric from you. Although it is so painful to say good-by, we understand that he has finished his work for you here on this earth and needed to come home. Lord, please comfort all those who are experiencing such sorrow and will miss him so. Amen.

I am in a related field and one of my clients told me what a great job he did on her case. Since I rarely hear positive attorney reviews, I called him immediately and spoke to him and was blown away! He was so warm and friendly and it was obvious that he loved helping people. After that conversation, I referred many people to him and everyone called me back to tell me what a great guy he was. I remember referring a woman to him who was about to lose her house in foreclosure the next day. He stayed in his office with her very late that night, typed her bankruptcy and got it filed in time to save her home. I am so saddened to hear of this terrible loss. My sincerest condolences to his family and all those who loved him. I truly regret I never had the chance to meet him in person. Although I didn't know him on a personal level, I will never forget him.

My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families of Eric and Kathy. In dealing with the loss of such an exceptional human being, a best friend like no other, much more like a brother; I would like to share this poem with all of those who are grieving, too. There are no words ~ No more tears ~ Just happy memories replace my fears ~ It is clear to me now ~ I can see his smiling face ~ I can hear his infectious laugh ~ So much more than a trace ~ The dark clouds have parted ~ The sun light has led the way ~ For Eric's spirit has arrived ~ I believe it is here to stay

I Know you will still be with me and I have so much thanks to you. Our Blessings go to Deborah and your fiancee and your children whom you so often spoke of. I first met Eric as opposing counsel and found an honest hard working opponent who played fair and was a tribute to the practice of law. Based upon this experience, and the fact that parts of our practice are in different fields of law,I have worked with Eric on several cases and outright referred many of my clients. All of these clients have good to excellent results. In the current field of lawyers in Florida, his honesty and integrity will be missed.
