EVA I. (BOURQUE) KUKLA 93 of Lake Worth, FL and formerly of Fitchburg, MA died in JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, FL after an illness. She was born on October 1, 1914 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Philias and Madeline (Fagan) Bourque and lived in Fitchburg, MA until she retired in 1967. Eva was the owner of Eva Reilly's Beauty Shop on Water St. in Fitchburg, MA for over 25 years, and after her retirement she along with her husband moved to Lake Worth, FL. She loved to travel in her retirement years. While living in Fitchburg, MA, she was a member of St. Bernard's Church. She leaves her son, Paul G. Kukla Jr. and his wife Sandra of Lake Worth, FL; her daughter, Eileen Elgin, also of Lake Worth, FL; her brothers, former State Representative George Bourque of Fitchburg, MA, Leo Bourque of Jaffrey, NH and Robert Bourque of Fitchburg, MA; her sister, Mary Kittredge of Lancaster, MA; four grandchildren: Donald, Eddie, Bonnie and Chris, all in Florida and many great grandchildren, along with many nephews and nieces. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years, Paul G. Kukla who died in 1991, five brothers: Frank, Raymond, Albert, Joseph, and John Bourque and two sisters: Doris Cackett and Alice Landry; and one grandson, Bernard Kukla. The funeral will be held on Friday February 22, 2008 from the Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church, 228 Water St., Fitchburg, MA with the interment to follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
