Family-Placed Funeral Notice

GWENAVIER M. OTIS 88, went to heaven to join her husband Don and daughter Rosie McKenzie. She was born in Michigan on August 24, 1919. She raised two children while living in the Lansing area. She was a loving and devoted wife and full time "stay at home" mother. Gwenavier moved to South Florida in 1979 and loved the warm weather and being close to some of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She resided in the Lake Worth Towers for over 20 years. Loving memories will be cherished by her son and daughter- in-law Bill and Pam Otis of Lantana, son-in-law Doc McKenzie of Temple City, CA., grandsons Rick, Randall and Brock of Monrovia, CA., Mike Otis of Lake Worth, FL., granddaughters Debra Diehl of Roanoke, VA., and Deborah McKenzie of Columbus, Ohio, and 14 great grandchildren. Her family will receive their friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. A celebration of her life and home going will be held on Wednesday 1PM at Lake Worth Nazarene Church, 2nd Ave and "D" Street, Lake Worth with Rev. Bill Buettner officiating. She will be laid to rest immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Donations in her memory may be made to the Lake Worth Church of the Nazerene.
