KYLE VINCENT MUTTER Age 18, of Loxahatchee, FL, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009. Born in West Palm Beach, FL, he was the beloved son of Richard and Cheryl (Casteel) Mutter. He loved any outdoor activity, especially 4-wheeling, skateboarding, fishing and chillin' with his friends. KyleÌs memory will be cherished by his loving parents, Richard and Cheryl; sister, Amanda; grandparents, Paul and Vale Sumler, Kenneth and Sharon Casteel, Reginald and Nancy Mutter; great-grandmother, Pearl Casteel and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sally Benton. A memorial gathering will be held 10 AM-11 AM on Monday, October 19, 2009 with a service celebrating his life beginning at 11 AM at Palms West Funeral Home. IT’S OKAY TO GRIEVE: The death of a loved one is a reluctant and drastic amputation, without any anesthesia. The pain cannot be described, and no scale can measure the loss. We despise the truth that the death cannot be reversed, and that somehow our dear one returned. Such hurt!! It’s okay to grieve.

IT’S OKAY TO CRY: Tears release the flood of sorrow, of missing and of love. Tears relieve the brute force of hurting, enabling us to "level off" and continue our cruise along the stream of life. It’s okay to cry.

IT’S OKAY TO HEAL: We do not need to "prove" we loved him or her. As the months pass, we are slowly able to move around with less outward grieving each day. We need not feel "guilty", for this is not an indication that we love less. It means that, although we don’t like it, we are learning to accept death. It’s a healthy sign of healing. It’s okay to heal.

IT’S OKAY TO LAUGH: Laughter is not a sign of "less" grief. Laughter is not a sign of "less" love. It’s a sign that many of our thoughts and memories are happy ones. It’s a sign that we know our memories are happy ones. It’s a sign that we know our dear one would have us laugh again. It’s okay to laugh

Babe I can't believe your gone! You meant the world to so many people and I wish you had understood that. Everyday I remember you through chasing lightning out at the ranch, taking our garbage out cause I was screaming at everyone but YOU since they never helped clean up even though you always did being the gentlemen your mom raised you to be, endless hours of pong, & just seeing you and tony pull up always managing to put a smile on my face no matter how angry I was. Cheryl, Richard and Amanda,
Our family cannot find words to express our deepest sorrow in the tragic loss of Kyle. Our girls have been friends all through their school years and now they are both successful adults. We have shared many memories throughout the years of the hardest job the Lord ever gave us, parenting! My husband remembers picking up Amanda to spend time with our daughter and bringing Kyle along for the ride just to hang out with him, throw the football or head to the beach. He always enjoyed happy outings with your kids.
Every day is a gift from God and may we continue to value what is important to us. In everything we do, make a memory! May you be shown inner peace as you all continue the day to day walk here on earth. We have a very short time here but an eternity to look forward to in Jesus Christ.
