RAUL QUINTERO 'Rudy' Was the owner of The Upper Crust bakery; a long standing family owned and operated business in Palm Beach County for over 31 years. Rudy passions in his life were his faith in Jesus Christ and his love and devotion for his family which sustained him to the very end of his life here on earth. He is survived by his loving wife Helen, children Mona Irvin (Marc), Rudy Quintero (Jodie), Lisa Proctor, Jeanette Book (Jim), and Nicole Quintero, seven grand- daughters, three grandsons, three brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Elena, and brothers Henry and David. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 8 at the Church of Christ of the Palm Beaches; 1014 S. Jog Road, West Palm Beach, and at 4 PM on Saturday, September 12 at First Christian Church of Winter Park; 1140 S. Lakemont Avenue, Winter Park, FL. I feel so blessed to have known Rudy, and to be welcomed into his family. His trust in me and my work at the pie shop is very important to me. Rudy never knew a stranger and when he met someone, it was always on his mind to introduce them to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He and my husband, Clay, are now together again singing their hearts out praising the Lord with the other saints in heaven. Wouldn't you just like to have a little peak to see what's going on. I don't think it's the same up there now. They would figure out some way to get into trouble. I have been thinking of you all continually and praying for you and missing Rudy. Even though he was far away, I knew he was there. What a legacy he has left. He truly was a man of God and I loved him dearly.

Having just lost my own Dad, I know the voids that are left behind. However, I also know the joy in celebrating that Dad is in Heaven and someday, we will meet again. Rudy shed his broken body and has a new one now. He won't be suffering anymore. He will be waiting for his family to join him someday - Quintero reunion at Heaven's gate. In the meantime, I know he and my dad are having a wonderful time in Gloryland! Thinking of you all ...with sorrow and joy.
