Linda Sue Zook
August 8, 1949 - May 16, 2024
In loving memory of Linda Sue Zook, 74, who passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024, with her husband of 51 years, Robert Charles Zook by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elinor Jean (Ryan) Bray and Patrick Greene Bray; and is survived by her uncle, Rodger Ryan of Bloomington, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
Lin was born August 8, 1949, in Bloomington, IL, and graduated from Illinois State University. She and Bob owned Bob Zook Auto Body in Bloomington for 33 years before moving to North Fort Myers, FL, in 2016. She was also the avionics office manager for The Flight Star Corp., Savoy, IL. Lin was a licensed pilot and enjoyed living in a Florida air park community. She was an active member of the Fort Myers Evangelical Free Church in Fort Myers, FL. Lin touched the lives of so many with her warmth and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, neighbors and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Lin's church in Florida, and graveside services at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1102 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL, 61704.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Myers Evangelical Free Church, 6798 Plantation Pines Blvd., Fort Myers, FL, 33966; and The Moody Bible Institute, 820 N. LaSalle Blvd., Chicago, IL, 60610.

Bob, so sorry for your loss. Although we lost contact over the years, Lin was a dear friend and mentor to me when I worked for you guys. I will always remember our bike rides around the country side and to Dawson Lake.

Lin's faith was her driving force behind her caring for others. She helped me through one of my most difficult times in life by offering me strength and humor. She was a wonderful friend! Hugs and love.
