Ron and I were close friends and fellow musicians since grade school. The last time I saw Ron was my last visit to Bloomington in June of 2016. I had the pleasure of hearing the Heartland jazz band. We both shared the love of Jazz. I moved to Portland, Or in 1973 and continued to play the saxophone in various groups locally. Ron will be missed by all who knew him. My best wishes to his family and friends.
