Adrian Thomas Scott, Sr., 69, resident of Pasadena, Texas was born in Minden, Louisiana on January 2, 1947 to Julius Howard and Lillian Prothro Scott. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Houston Methodist Hospital surrounded by many loved ones. He joined the Army and served his Country honorably during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Phoenix No. 38 F&AM Masonic Lodge in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Adrian was an accomplished businessman in many different fields including: watch making, jeweler, and involvement in the NASA Space Program. One of his many achievements was founding Adrian Scott Industries, Inc. in 1991, along with his wife Susan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all things involving firearms.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Susan Bell Scott; his son Adrian Thomas Scott, Jr.; son, Brady Scott and wife Stacy; daughter, Rachel J. Scott; daughter, Lindsey Whitley and husband Michael; son, Andrew J. Scott and wife Tracey; grandchildren Kody, Dylan, Mason, Jerrod, Justin, Jayden, Anthony, Madison, Ainsley and "Curly"; his brothers Julius Scott, Jr. and Terrell Scott, Sr. and wife Joy; and many nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the multiple staff, nurses, and doctors at Houston Methodist Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital for their care and kindness.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with services held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Both will be held at Grandview Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
