Billy Ridens

Billy Don Ridens, 67 of Pasadena, Texas passed away suddenly on March 11, 2015. Billy Don was born on February 18, 1948 to Joye Belle and C.C. (Mutt) Ridens in Lamesa, Texas. He married his high school sweetheart, Glenda Derouen Ridens in 1971. In 1974, he began his career with Akzo and worked with them for 38 years. He had many adventures and dear friends through his time spent with them.

The world lost a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He was a big man of little words, but everyone had a story about him and the nicknames that he gave to ones he cherished. Please hold your love ones tight and remember everyday is a gift.

He is survived by his wife Glenda Derouen Ridens of Pasadena, Texas, brother Wayne Ridens of Baytown, Texas and three sister-in-laws Carolyn Derouen of Snyder, Texas, Diane Derouen and her husband Glenn Chambliss of Madison, Wisconsin and Kathy Ferguson and her husband Tommy of Trinity, Texas; and several nieces and nephews he considered as if they were one of his own. Nieces: Donna Emfinger (Kevin Law), Christine Chambliss, Michelle Mauldin (Cody), Jenny Followay (Jack). Nephews: Patrick Ridens (Stacey), Henry Schoonover, Jon Derouen (Shaun), and Tommy Ferguson, Jr. (Sarah). He was also loved by many great nieces and nephews. Leslie Schoonover, Tristen and Jordan Compton, Dustin Ridens, Katie Derouen, Paton and Cade Mauldin, Jon and Jenna Followay and Ty and Lauren Ferguson.

Billy Don is preceded in death by his father C.C., sister Wynell (Dannie) Martin, sister-in-law, Nelda Ridens, mother Joye Belle, brother-in-law, Jon Derouen and niece Charlotte Schoonover.
