Brandon Jeremy Lamb was born January 21, 1981 in Houston Texas to parents BJ Lamb and Debbie Lamb Horton and passed away on January 23, 2014. We have lost Brandon much too soon as he celebrated his 33 birthday. From the hands of God back into the hands of God, no life is incomplete. Brandon's journey was done.
Brandon is preceded in death by his grandfathers Billy Joe Lamb and Billy Wayne Evans, his grandmother Judy Carol Phillips, and grandparents Royce Sargent and Doris Shipley, and his uncle Michael Craig Evans. Brandon is survived by his parents BJ and Joy Lamb of Leakey, Texas and Debbie and Jim Horton of Prescott Arizona. He is also survived by brother, Jared Lamb of Austin TX, who provided a loving mixture of competition and support. From Joy, Brandon had the gift of sisters Dori Lacamu of Houston, TX, JoAnn Kuritz of Crosby, TX, and Melissa Bozant of LaPorte, TX. From Jim he gained siblings Jeremy Horton of Houston, TX, Jim and Kelly Horton of Greenville, Illinois and Tammy Smith of Mansfield, TX. He is also survived by grandmother, Marian Lamb of Wimberley, Texas. Brandon leaves behind to grieve friends and family, cousins, aunts and uncles too many to name and nieces and nephews who idolized him. He cherished them all.
Brandon's life was his own invention. He was introspective and brilliant, loved music, and had sand in his soul. He was happiest on top of a wave with the ocean breeze at his back, and was always scanning the horizon for that next big wave. He cherished his family and friends and every moment spent with them and each has played an important role in his journey.
Brandon graduated from Deer Park high school in 1999 and from Texas State with Bachelor's Degree in Marketing in 2004, and earned his Master's Degree in Psychology and Sports Medicine. He worked professionally in the field of sports medicine.
Services for Brandon will include a visitation from 12 noon until 1 PM on Monday January 27, 2014 and a Celebration of his Life at 1:00 PM at the Wimberley United Methodist Church at 1200 County Road 1492 in Wimberley, Texas. Reverend Dana Hamilton will officiate. Brandon will be laid to rest next to his grandfather, in the Wimberley Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the church following the committal service.
Services will be in the direction of Thomason Funeral home in Wimberley Texas.
Words of comfort may be left for the family at www.ThomasonFuneralHome.com under "Obituaries".
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests donations a NAMI, the National Association of Mental Illness at www.NAMI.org.

I had a chance to work with Brandon at NASM. Not a day went by without a smile and a wave from him. A truly inspiring individual who certainly made his presence warm and uplifting. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends n family at this time. Although a huge loss to the world, a huge gain into the gates of heaven.

The world has lost a beautiful light. Brandon made the space you were in feel alive and I would seek out his company whenever I had the chance. May the love and memories of his best days comfort you in your worst.
