David Lee Lout, 70, died November 26, 2018, at his home in Deer Park, Texas, after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by his wife, Jan LeBon Lout; his son, Chris Lout, and his wife, Lori, of French Settlement, Louisiana; his daughter, Heather Davis, and her husband, Kevin, of Lake Jackson, Texas; his sister, Diana Bellard, of Groves, Texas; his stepson, Benji Pellegran, and his wife, Maria, of Iowa, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his parents, P. L. Lout and Wanda Askew Enmon.
David was born and raised in Center, Texas, and was a longtime resident of LaPorte, Texas. He was a proud Navy veteran and worked many years in the chemical cleaning industry. He was a lifetime member and volunteer of the Houston and Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo.
David was always quick with a joke or an entertaining story. He was an animal lover and had many dogs and cats through the years along with his beloved horse, Gypsy.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of the Houston VA Hospital and the staff of Hospice Plus for their care, compassion and support. David was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
