Doris Evelyn Garnuch Etie, 88, born December 21, 1927 to Otto W. and Fannie May Garnuch in Pasadena, TX went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2016. She married David Roy Etie on April 23, 1948 for 37 years until his death on April 1, 1985. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1945, and then from Business School and worked as a Time Clerk at Champion Paper. Later in life she prepared taxes at H&R Block. She belonged to one church family beginning with First Assembly of God of Pasadena, Cathedral of Faith, Fairmont Christian Center, and Sozo Church serving God through playing piano for church services for over 60 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Charles W. Garnuch. She is survived by her daughter Robin Denise Etie and grandson whom she raised from age 9, Darien Young. She was laid to rest September 2, 2016 at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
